Alliance Air gets another 6 months Viability Gap Funding (VGF) extension for operating flight Service
Jharsuguda : Alliance Air Airlines gets the nod for another 6 months of VGF funding for operating Flight from Bhubaneswar -� Jharsuguda – Bhubaneswar informed Jharsuguda Airport Director Sandip Kumar Tiwari
He said, �As you know that, we have only one aircraft operating from Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar. Earlier it had discontinued after which the State Government provided VGF for months which ended on 25th June 2024. However, the State Government has again extended the VGF funding for another 6 months, effective from 26th June 2024. It will continue with its flight service for Bhubaneswar.�
Alliance Air operates one flight from Bhubaneswar � Jharsuguda � Bhubaneswar from VSS airport. Other than this Indigo Airlines has been operating with daily flight services to Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.
