Plus 2 Exam Results Announced: Science Pass Rate 85%, Commerce 81%

Cuttack:�The Council of Higher Secondary Education has announced the results of this year’s plus-two examination. The science stream achieved�a�success rate of 84.93 percent, while the commerce stream achieved a pass rate of 81.12 percent, which is lower than the previous year’s results. 94.12% had passed Class 12 Science, and 89.2% had passed Class 12 Commerce.

Out of 93,734 students who took the science stream exam, 78,938 passed. 39,573 of these effective candidates received first-class status. Furthermore, 24,257 students received second class, while 14,852 received third class.

In Commerce, 24,082 candidates took the exams, with 19,536 of them celebrating their�accomplishment.�Among these successful individuals, 7,410 students received first-class honours. Furthermore, 4,543 pupils obtained second-class status, while 7,492 received third-class status.

The result booklet was revealed at the council’s offices in Bhubaneswar by School and Education Minister�Sudam Marndi.�The exam results were posted on the official website, www.orissaresults.nic.in. The SAMS College�e-space�was also important in easing access to�exam result�information.

The results for arts and vocational courses will be revealed on June 8, according to Council President Ashwini Kumar Mishra.
