Free Health Screening Camp Held at Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: In a commendable initiative to promote preventive healthcare, the Airports Authority of India (AAI), in collaboration with Jagnyaseni Hospital, organised a Free Health Screening Camp at the Arrival Area of Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda.
The camp offered several essential health check-ups free of cost, including Bone Mineral Density (BMD), Haemoglobin, and Random Blood Sugar (RBS) tests, benefiting passengers, AAI employees, airline staff, stakeholders, and visitors. The screenings were conducted under the supervision of experienced medical professionals, including Dr. S. J. Patel and Dr. Reena Naik, who also provided medical consultation and health counselling to the participants.
The primary objective of the initiative was to encourage preventive healthcare and early detection of common health conditions such as anaemia, diabetes, and osteoporosis. The camp received an encouraging response from the public and airport community, highlighting the importance of regular health monitoring.
This initiative reflects AAI’s ongoing commitment to the well-being of passengers, staff, and the wider community, reinforcing its role not only in aviation services but also in supporting public health and social welfare.
