Jharsuguda: One person allegedly died while at least 10 people of Kuhakunda Village are hospitalised with suspected symptoms of diarrhoea in Lakhanpur CHC under Lakhanpur Block in Jharsuguda district in the wee hours of Saturday. Jharsuguda Medical Team including Chief District Medical Officer rushed to the spot.
However, District Collector Saroj Kumar Samal tweeted
Diarrhoea in viiage Kuhakunda of Lakhanpur block is a singular incident. Village is having pipe water supply. Infection is suspected to have been carried by a family who had been to Allahbad to perform obsequies . All showing symptoms are transferred to hospital. Under control.
