Jharsuguda : �One youth was killed and three others were injured due to lightning strike on Thursday afternoon at Laikera area under ??Jharsuguda district
Police identified the deceased as Parikhit Bhoinsa (28 year old) of Gambhariguda village under Laikera Block.
In an another incident, two ladies 45 year old Mukta Rohidas and 24 year old Supriya Rohidas of Kulemura Village and a 19 year old girl Barsha Behera of Gambhariguda Village were also injured in this lightning strike near their home . These three are being treated at the Mudrajore Community Health Center (CHC).
Laikera police station IIC Prabir Keshari Tripathy reached the spot, seized the body of the deceased and sent him to Jharsuguda for autopsy. �In addition, more than 10 cows were also killed in lightning strikes in Khairdihi and Kulemura villages.
