Annual Festival ‘Aarohan–2025’ Celebrated inGhanshyamHemlataVidyaMandir

Jharsugudae: The 30th Annual Function, Arohan, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy in the campus of GhanshyamHemlataVidyaMandir, Balijori, Jharsuguda. This year’s central theme, “A Creative Symphony of Skill,” brought together students, teachers, and parents on a vibrant platform of creativity and achievement.

On this occasion, Jharsuguda MLA Shri TankadharTripathy graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Uma CharanPati, Head of the Department of Economics and Deputy Registrar, Gangadhar University, attended as the Chief Speaker. The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, the Chief Speaker, the Chairperson of the school, and members of the School Management Committee.

The Chairperson of the school, Mrs. Sanjukta Dash, presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s progress and the achievements of students in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the holistic development of students and stated that education must be complemented by moral values and social responsibility to shape good citizens.

Chief Speaker Dr. Uma CharanPati appreciated the school’s management system and teaching methodology and stressed the importance of value-based education. The program served as an impressive platform showcasing the exceptional talents of students from all classes.

Under the guidance of dance instructors Santosh Das and Prince Kiran, along with teachers JabamayiBarik and Manisha Sahu, students presented a series of colourful cultural performances that captivated the audience. One of the major highlights of the ceremony was the prize distribution, where meritorious students were honoured for academic excellence and outstanding performance in various competitions.

The successful event not only provided students an opportunity to showcase their talents but also strengthened the spirit of togetherness and enthusiasm within the school community.

The program was attended by the Convenor of the School Management Committee, Pabitra Mohan Behera, senior members Trilochan Pradhan, Jadumani Pandey, Prabir KumarMuduli, Tapas Ray Chowdhury, TrinathGual, along with other guests, teachers, parents, and students. The stage was conducted by senior English teacherJagadish Prasad Panigrahi, Commerce teacherDigantMahanti, and Biology teacher ShwetalishaMaharana. The Vice-PrincipalManoranjanGumansingh, delivered the vote of thanks.

The annual function was successfully coordinated by the CCA team with the support of Political Science teacherKamaleshSahu and Sandhya Rani Sahu.For the successful execution of the programme, the Joint Conveners of the CCA, Sandhyarani Sahu and Kamalesh Sahu, along with the school’s Student Council team, extended their active cooperation.
