Jharsuguda: An Economic Blockade agitation was done by the Youth Congress today in front of MSP Steel Plant at Budhipatra where more than 500 Youth Congress Members blocked the office gates since morning onwards. Even Gramancal Commercial Vehicle Association members had also jointly staged a protest in front of company since yesterday. They have blamed the plant that for not encouraging local employment and locals who have been working within the company they have not given a permanent category. They even stressed out for the pollution created by the company by dumping ashes. They demanded that company should build a separate ash pond for the same.
However, after the assurance by the company officials that they will look into matter and would try to full fill all the demands. The agitation was lifted up after the intervention of administration Tahsildar Rajendra Minz , SDPO Fagua Singh, BTM IIC Amitav Panda , Town OIC Uma Shankar Maharana were present in this meeting.
