TRL Krosaki receives Greentech Environment & Sustainability Award in Environment Protection Category for the year 2026
Jharsuguda: TRL Krosaki wins the coveted Environment & Sustainability Award in Environment Protection Category for the year 2026 for achieving excellence in Environment Protection initiatives. The Award was presented during the Environment and Sustainability Summit 2026 organised by Greentech Foundation on 10.09.2026 at Hotel Indana Palace, Jodhpur. The award was received by Mr. Sushanta Kumar Das, Vice President (Corporate Services & Sustainability, TRL Krosaki from Mr. Kamleshwar Sharan, Chairman & CEO Greentech Foundation. Eminent guests like Mr. Ved Prakash Mahayar, Former Director of ONGC and Mr. Sanjay Parasar, Executive Director, Oil India were present on the dais during the award function. Mr. Abhirup Mondal, Asstant Manager Sales and Services accompanied Mr. Das while receiving the award.
200 Prominent organisations of the country including Haldia Energy Ltd, Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India, Vikram Solar Limited, Hindustan Unilever, Godavari Power and Ispat, Tata Motors, MCL, IFFCO, Birla Copper, Tata Outokumpu, Vedanta, etc. have participated in this award.
TRL Krosaki is a leader in environment management through its relentless efforts for bringing significant improvement in the areas of Air Pollution Control, Water Pollution Control, Hazardous & Other Waste Management, Biomedical Waste Management, E-Waste Management, Green belt coverage, improving Biodiversity, Reduction in Carbon Footprint, Waste Reduction, Recycle & Reuse of Raw Materials and Rejections, etc. But the biggest step taken by the company is complete replacement of Coal and Furnace Oil with Piped Natural Gas (PNG).
