Personal connect of MD, TRL Krosaki for excellence in Special Children Education and Training of Unemployed Youth

Jharsuguda: Mr. Prasant Kumar Naik, Managing Director, TRL Krosaki, accompanied by Mrs. Anita Naik, visited Prerana, a school for special children at Belpahar, on August 31, 2026. The visit affirms the Company’s continued commitment towards social inclusion, empowerment of differently-abled children, and community development.
During the visit, Mr. and Mrs. Naik interacted extensively with members of the School Management Committee, teachers, staff, parents of special children, medical professionals, senior citizens, and other stakeholders. They sought feedback on the school’s functioning, discussed the extent to which the institution is meeting community expectations, and explored avenues through which TRL Krosaki could further contribute to improving the quality of services and infrastructure.
Mr. Naik appreciated the dedicated efforts of the School Management Committee, teachers, medical professionals, senior citizens who have volunteered tirelessly working to help children with autism and Down syndrome to develop their skills, confidence, and independence, thereby enabling their integration into the mainstream of society.
On the occasion, Mrs. Anita Naik distributed gifts containing daily-use educational and learning materials, including digital slates and cards, among the children. The gesture was warmly received by the students and their families.
The programme was attended by Mr. Sushanta Kumar Das, Vice President (Corporate Services), TRL Krosaki and President of Prerana; Dr. Sushant Jagdala, Dr. Upasana Jhunjhunwala, and Dr. Twinkle Naik (Physiotherapist); officers of the Company including Dr. Santosh Kumar Mishra, Mr. Suresh Naik, Mr. Aniruddha Mishra, Mr. Bivudatta Sahoo, Mr. Sashanka Dixit, Mr. Deepak Sahoo, and Mr. Amar Singh, the Secretary of the School, senior citizens including Mr. Ajay Kumar Bharamarbar Rai, Mr. Md. Ariff, Dr. Ratna Sengupta, teachers, staff members, etc.
Established in 2009 and continuously supported by TRL Krosaki, Prerana provides specialized education and developmental support to children with autism and Down syndrome. Over the years, it has emerged as a beacon of hope for special children and their families in the region.
Following the visit to Prerana, Mr. Naik also visited the TRL SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), where he interacted with faculty members, trainees, and successful entrepreneurs who have been trained through the institute’s various skill development programmes.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Naik emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of training and ensuring sincere handholding support for trainees even after completion of their courses, so that they can successfully establish sustainable livelihoods. He assured all possible support from TRL Krosaki for the continued growth and development of the institute.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Sushanta Kumar Das, Vice President (Corporate Services) who is also the president of RSETI Management Committee, other officers like Mr. Kanhu Charan Pradhan, Secretary of RSETI Management Committee, Directors of RSETI Mr. Biswaranjan Bhoi and Mr. Ashok Minz, etc. in addition to trainees and successful entrepreneurs developed by the institute.
Both Prerana and TRL SBI RSETI were established in 2009 as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of TRL Krosaki. Since their inception, the Company has been consistently supporting and closely monitoring the two institutions, reflecting its long-standing commitment to community welfare, inclusive education, skill development, and sustainable social progress.
