Jharsuguda : Faiz Taiyab, Head of Project, NTPC Darlipali, has been promoted to the position of Executive Director (ED) of NTPC Limited. He officially assumed charge as Executive Director on June 8, 2026.
Taiyab began his career with NTPC in 1990 and has since built an illustrious career spanning more than three decades in the power generation and project management sectors. His promotion is a recognition of his extensive experience, technical expertise, and proven leadership capabilities, which have significantly contributed to the organization’s growth and operational excellence.
A native of Bihar, Mr. Taiyab holds a B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Aligarh Muslim University. Throughout his distinguished career, he has gained rich and diverse experience across key domains, including plant operations, coal mining, land acquisition, Operation & Maintenance (O&M), and project management.
Over the years, he has served in several important assignments across NTPC’s projects and establishments, including Kahalgaon, Ranchi, Patratu, Banhardih Coal Mine, Kerandari, Pakri Barwadih, Lara, and Darlipali. His contributions in these roles have played a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the successful execution of strategic projects.
