Jharsuguda : Odisha Power Generation Corporation ltd. today organized a Health check-up camp at Dalgaon Gram Panchayat under Lakhanpur block of Jharsuguda district.
Sarpanch Santosh Kumar Rohidas inaugurated the camp in the presence of Chief Medical Officer of IB Thermal Hospital Dr. Sangita Panda, Dr. Hitendra Kumar Rout, Dr. Ankit Kumar Achrya along with medical team of IB Thermal Power Station. The patients were examined by doctors of IB Thermal Hospital and invited specialists from Sambalpur Dr. Deepak Panigrahi (Medicine Specialist) and Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathy (Pediatric).
The patients were given consultation and medicine in the camp. Total 169 patients from villages such as Dalgaon, Basupali, Solpali, Bhimgudi, Khuntpali, Adhadihi, Senhamal, Sarandamal, Bhejikud, Negipali, Khamardihi and Khapsimunda treated in this camp. The patients were checked up for ailments like Arthralgia, Melasma, Hypertension, Diabetics Mellites, General weakness, Dermatitis, Pyrexia, Acute Peptic Diseases, Knee pain, Acute gastritis, Def vision, Refractive, Anorexia and Lower Respiratory Tract Infection etc..
The camp was coordinated by team of IB Thermal Hospital and OPGC CSR department which includes Tapas Panda of CSR, support staff of IB Thermal Hospital Sujata Nayak, Pravat Kumar Barik, Sunita Ekka, Sandhyarani Kisan, Agnivesh Singh, Abhimanu Bhoi, Dillip Deep, Dubraj Mirdha and Karna Bag. Under the CSR programme of OPGC many Health camps shall be organized in coming months of this financial year.
