Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy reviews development plans for Jhadeshwar Temple and its surrounding area
Jharsuguda: A meeting was held at the premises of Jhadeshwar Temple to discuss the development of the temple and the renovation of the Purnabasti pond. The meeting was attended by Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathi. He announced that the district’s C.S.R. (Corporate Social Responsibility) fund had sanctioned ₹2 crore for the temple’s development and the Jharsuguda Municipal Council has been entrusted with the responsibility of its construction.
The MLA also informed that the municipal council has started a cleanliness drive using a JCB for the development of a park in the area. The architectural plans for this project will be prepared by a professional architect, as directed by Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathi.
Additionally, the MLA shared that ₹3 crore has been sanctioned from the C.S.R. fund for the beautification and development of the Purnabasti pond. He instructed the municipal council to begin this work soon. Furthermore, he directed the concerned authorities to commence the construction of a drain from the old bus stand to the Jhadeshwar Temple without delay.
The meeting was attended by several local residents of the Purnabasti pond area along with the Executive Officer of Jharsuguda Municipal Council.
