Annual Badi Pala Event Illuminates Parshuram Temple in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda : In a dazzling display of cultural fervor, the annual Badi Pala was celebrated with enthusiasm and devotion at the Parshuram Temple in Jharsuguda this evening. The event, organized by the Jharsuguda Brahmin Samaj, witnessed soulful performances by renowned Pala singers Lakshmi Dhar and Sathi from the Banki area of Cuttack, along with Radheshyam Panda hailing from Bargarh.

The cultural extravaganza, known for its vibrant renditions of the Badi Pala, drew a large crowd of devotees and music enthusiasts. The esteemed judging panel, consisting of Sitaram Birtiya and Nikunj Bihari Mishra, had the challenging task of evaluating the performances and selecting the winners of this prestigious event.

Jharsuguda Brahmin Samaj president Rabindra Dixit presided over the gathering, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage embedded in events like Badi Pala. The evening was a harmonious blend of traditional melodies, spiritual fervor, and a sense of community.

Furthermore, the cultural calendar continues to unfold with another significant event scheduled for Monday, 11.3.2024. The Sarabahal Jagannath Temple will host a mass Brato Panoyana, inviting devotees to participate in a collective expression of devotion and spirituality.
