Passenger Dies After Falling From Train in Jharsuguda

Brajarajnagar: A passenger died after falling from a train near Ib Bridge on the Brajrajnagar-Jharsuguda railway line on Sunday morning. The deceased, who is believed to be around 55 years old, was traveling from Mumbai to Rourkela.

The incident took place at around 10:00 AM. The train was moving at a high speed when the passenger fell from the train. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he was declared brought dead.

The identity of the deceased has not been released yet. The Jharsuguda GRP has registered a case and is investigating the matter.

This is the second such incident in the past few months. In February, a passenger died after falling from a train near Sambalpur.

The railways have urged passengers to be careful while traveling and to avoid standing near the doors of the train. They have also asked passengers to report any suspicious activity to the railway authorities.
