Jharsuguda : A 23-year-old youth died on the spot while the other two sustained serious injuries after their bike hit a car coming from the opposite side at Samarbaga Chowk under Rengali Police station.
Police identified the deceased as Rehman Ali (23-year-old), a resident of Moudhapara, of Raigarh, while the other two injured were identified as Nasim Ali (17) and Atul Lehri (21).
As per the report, the deceased along with the other two colleagues were coming from the Raigarh side towards Jharsuguda when a car coming from the opposite side met a head-on collision with the bike. Due to this, the deceased died on the spot while the two sustained serious injuries and were referred to Jharsuguda District Headquarter hospital for treatment. Rengali police seized the car and detained the car owners at are Rengali police station under Lakahanpur Block.
