Jharsuguda :Â A 30-year-old woman along with her two daughters were found to be dead under mysterious circumstances at their rented house at Ganganagar, Fatak Pada under Brajrajnagar police station limits on Wednesday.
Police identified the deceased as Soni Poddar (30 years) along with her two daughters aged 5 years old and 3-year-old.
The husband of the woman identified as Narayan Poddar who is a daily wage labourer has been reportedly missing after the incident.
As per the report, on Wednesday morning when a milkman had gone to give milk, he found the dead bodies of the deceased along with her two daughters. He immediately alerted the neighbours after which they informed the local police officials, who reached the spot and started their investigation. Â Police officials had also called the scientific team to the spot to carried out a detailed investigation. Jharsuguda SP Bikash Ch. Das along with other police officials had also reached the spot.
Police have started questioning their relatives and neighbours regarding the incident.
Jharsuguda Superintendent of Police Bikash Ch. Das said, “The deceased along with her two kids were found dead on their rented house at Brajrajnagar. As per the report, yesterday the deceased along with her daughters and her husband had gone to sleep at night at 9 o’clock at night and on Wednesday morning at 7 am, they were found dead. However, the husband is not present at the spot. The exact reason for the death is still not known however, we have found some injury marks on the neck of the deceased Soni while the two daughters don’t have any injury marks. The exact reason for the death will be known after the post mortem report. Subsequently, we are investigating in all angles.â€
