Belpahar: Â A 31-year-old man was allegedly killed, after being hit by a bamboo stick over a dispute on Wednesday evening under Belpahar Police station Limits.
Police identified the deceased was identified as Manoj Biswal (31), a resident of Luharapada
Belpahar police station IIC Ranjan Biswal said, On Wednesday evening at around 7:30 pm, victim Manoj Biswal and one accused had gone to Luharpada for some personal work and after returning back they had some altercation after which, the accused had hit Manoj Biswal with a bamboo stick in a fit of anger and fled away from the scene. Manoj Biswal who had been severely injured and was bleeding, after few hours, was spotted by locals who had taken him to TRL Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.  Based on the complaint filed by the family members of Manoj Biswal, Belpahar registered a case and investigating the matter. The accused Pramod Bhoi has been detained.â€
