Two Express Trains to run via Jharsuguda Railway Station from 1st June 2020
Jharsuguda: After The announcement of train resumption by the Indian Railways, Two trains will run via Jharsuguda Railway Station. This information was given by the South Eastern Railway’s Senior Divisional Manager cum Public Relation Officer (PRO) Manish Pathak who had arrived at Jharsuguda Railway Station on Wednesday evening.
As reported, two trains (Train No. 02810/09) Howarh-Mumbai CSTM (Howrah – Mumbai Mail) Express and (Train No. 02833/34) Ahmedabad – Howrah Express will run from coming 1st June 2020.
“As per the Indian railways, we are about to start 100 train services from 1st June, among which five train services will start in Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway. Among the five train services, two train services will run via Jharsuguda Railway Station i.e. Howrah – Mumbai Mail Express and Ahmedabad Express on a daily basis. The booking of tickets for these trains are already on through IRCTC and simultaneously, tickets counters are also open. There are guidelines for Passenger who are about to travel in train services which they need to follow. One has to have confirmed tickets before coming to the railway station, all have to undergo a screening process and have to fill details mandatorily. A passenger who de-boarded at Station then they have to undergo prescribed guidelines as per the state protocol. The State Medical team will screen the passengers.
We would request passengers that if they have any important travel then please opt this service, but should follow all guidelines like wearing a mask, bringing own food, minimum luggage bags and confirmed ticket. The reservation chart will be prepared twice, firstly, four hours before the journey. and secondly, after the cancellation and non-turned out tickets, another reservation chart will be prepared two hours before the journey. I want to request people, that railways have given six months time to cancel the tickets and get refunds back. From Thursday onwards, the ticket counters will be opened from 8 am to 6 pm for reservation and refund.” said Manish Pathak, Senior Divisional Manager cum Public Relation Officer (PRO), South Eastern Railway’s (Chakradharpur Division)
