Jharsuguda : Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari on Tuesday presented a one-year report card of Brajrajnagar Assembly constituency in an event under Vikshit Brajrajnagar for Vikshit Odisha and Vikshit Bharat held at TRL Jubilee Hall, Belpahar.
He announced that approximately ₹3,000 crore worth of developmental projects have already been initiated in the Brajrajnagar Assembly constituency over the past one year. The projects span critical sectors such as Education, Health, Transport, Water, with the help of PWD, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), District Mineral Fund (DMF), and Central Government funds.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Pujari said, “We have prepared a one-year report card which will be delivered door-to-door to the people of the Brajrajnagar Assembly constituency. It includes information on what developmental projects were started, which have been completed, and what’s planned for the future.”
Among the flagship projects, the Bhikampali–Jarimuli Bridge, to be built over the Hirakud Reservoir, stands out with an estimated cost of ₹300 crore. The much-awaited IB River Bridge has already seen its construction work begin, he added.
Additionally, to mark the one-year anniversary of the Revenue Department, a special programme will be held on 25th June at noon in the presence of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers, the Chief Secretary, and senior officials from the Revenue Department. During the event, a 5-minute video presentation will highlight the key achievements of the Revenue Department in the last one year.
Additionally, a comprehensive booklet outlining completed and upcoming projects will be released, along with the launch of a new mobile app. This app aims to revolutionise access to public services by offering more than 18 revenue-related services—including caste, income, and residence certificates—at the fingertips of citizens, eliminating the need to visit government offices.
