Jharsuguda:� A 58 years old widow shot dead by some unknown person at Chowkipara on Friday evening

As per the sources, Around six o clock, K. Kartikam was sitting near her house veranda, when an unknown person had come on a bike and had fired shot on her forehead. The bullet was fired at a closed range, due to which she died on the spot. On receiving the information, Jharsuguda Town Police had rushed to the Spot and had started the investigation.
“My wife is not in town, so she came to my house to prepare the meal for dinner and at around 5:30 pm in the evening she had left her home. Suddenly, I got a call from some known person that she has been lying and please come fast. �I can’t understand why someone will kill my old mother in law, what enmity would an old lady will have with someone. As per the Jharsuguda SDPO Purushottam Sethi, ” At around 6 Clock, someone has fired on her and she died on the spot, However, we have got some clue which can’t be disclosed now. we are expecting to nab the culprit very soon.”
