Vedanta Limited Jharsuguda Holds Mega Health Camp
Jharsuguda : Contributing towards the health and welfare of the community, Vedanta Limited Jharsuguda in association with AMRI hospitals conducted a Mega Health Camp on 20 December 2016 at Satsang Bhavan, Jharsuguda. The camp aimed at providing free and quality medical services to the immediate neighbourhood as well as the peripheral population. The initiative was successful in providing specialized health services under different domains like Neurology, Cardiology, Gastrology and Gynaecology by ten specialized doctors and staff of AMRI Hospitals and VSS Medical College, Bhubaneswar.
Over 500 patients benefitted from the camp which was inaugurated by Mrs. Damyanti Sahu, CDMO Jharsuguda. Speaking on the occasion, she appreciated Vedanta’s efforts towards community welfare and expressed her hopes for such camps in the future. The camp began at 9.30 AM and concluded by 4.30 PM.
Some of the major deliverables of the camp were instant lab-testing, ECG and supply of free medicines. The camp was coordinated by CSR & PR Team members of Vedanta and along with members of Mobile Health Unit, Vedanta worked for the successful conduct of the event.
