+2 evaluation boycotted by non-govt teachers at Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda: The evaluation of Plus-II examination papers which was scheduled to begun today at Jharsuguda�s Laxmi Narayan College was boycotted by the non-government college teachers over their demands which include, full grant-in-aid and withdrawal of block grant.
�In Offline mode two subjects and in Online four subjects were schedule to be evaluated, but till now, no evaluator has joined. For today�s evaluation around 50 evaluators should have reached but no one has turned up yet.� Said Sudarshan Panigrahi, Lecturer of Laxmi Narayan College.
The protesting teachers who were present in front of the college have shouted out slogan against the govt. and demanded immediate full fill ment of their demand.
�We are boycotting the evaluation as our demands are genuine, we are doing our jobs since 20 to 30 years but Govt. has turned apathy towards us. We want to give a message to the Govt. that if Govt. doesn�t fulfill our demands then our stir will be intensified in future� said by Madhusudhan Balwant Ray, Lecturer of Laxmi Narayan College.
