Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda awarded at the 55th ABCI awards
JHARSUGUDA: �Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda�s in-house newsletter �VEDANSH� won prestigious �Silver award� at the 55th Annual Awards Contest, organized by the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI) at a glitzy awards night in Mumbai on 18th March 2016.The award was bestowed on Vedansh as a recognition to one of the finest internal newsletter in the Indian corporate world for its quality, concept and content.
The newsletter is published quarterly and serves to disseminate interesting and informative facts and figures about Vedanta�s work culture, employee engagement, volunteerism and CSR initiatives as well as the company�s achievements. It connects with the core strength of the organization its human resource and shares with them all the happenings around them to keep them informed and proactively engaged in the process.
The ABCI is the oldest and largest of communication body in India. Its annual contests attract keen competition. This year, over 120 organizations representing private sector companies, PSUs and communication agencies had submitted a total of 1425 entries. PSUs and banks like Western Railway, RBI, SBI, Union Bank, Canara Bank, Indian Oil and Multinational Private sector organizations like TATA Motors, Tata Chemicals, ACC, Maruti Suzuki, and Coromandel International Ltd. etc.
