Lawyers resume strike, Shuts all Govt. Offices

Jharsuguda: Lawyers of Jharsuguda Bar Association resumed their strike from Monday over demand of high court bench and paralyse all government offices of the town.

Soon after the relaxation in the forms of the agitation for establishment of a High Court Bench �in Western Odisha from September 1 to 15 in view of the Nuakhai and Ganesh Puja festivals, the Lawyers in Jharsuguda under the Central Action Committee (CAC) has resume their stir from Monday.

�As per the CAC meeting held on Saturday at Rairakhol, it was decided to continue our agitation and have decided to observe Western Odisha Bandh on 19th September in demand of Scrapping of Pal commission and making recommendation to central Govt. for establishment of High Court Bench as per law. But, If still Govt. is unmoved then agitation will be intensified and would hold indefinite paralysing of Govt. Offices and Judiciary along with other sectors like banking and Insurance etc.,� threatened Jharsuguda bar Association President, Dinesh Kumar Jain
