State Students Congress President Chimay Sahoo meets with students for Preparatory Meeting for Upcoming Student Union Election at Badheimunda Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: State Students Congress President Chinmay Sahoo today had visited Jharsuguda and met with the students workers of congress. He was also accompanied by the National Students Secretary Naigam Bhandari. They have met with students and discussed about the upcoming students elections in a meeting held at Badheimunda.

Chimay Sahoo had made the point clear to the students that the person who has a clean image along with winning capabilities would be supported in the elections. He also told that Govt. only assures 50 % reservation of womens in writing but the fact is that Jharsuguda Women�s College is not having an election this shows how govt. is curbing the rights of womens. Additionally, he said that in Jharsuguda district Laxmi Narayan College is �still a Semi Govt. College and it hasn�t been given a fully Government College status. The Hostel arrangements of the college are also not upto mark. There are many Government Institutions where there is still the shortage of teachers. Like this there are various problems which are overlooked by the government. �He told last year 57% of candidates won were from the Students Congress and this year he assures that the percent would be around 80% in the state where the Student Congress will win.

In this Meeting the Dist. President of Students Congress Robin Pandey, Former President Manoj Dehuri, Sonu Kumar along with 300 students were present in this meeting.
