TRL Krosaki Launches “PRAGATI” Programme to Drive Transformation in its Schools

Jharsuguda: TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited launched “PRAGATI” (Platform for Reforms, Accountability, Governance & Academic Transformation through Innovation), a comprehensive initiative aimed at transforming the educational ecosystem of schools located in the TRL Krosaki Township on 06.07.2026.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Prasanta Kumar Naik, Managing Director, TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited, during his visits to Belpahar English Medium School, Sunshine School, and Belpahar Refractories High School. As part of the inauguration, Mr. Naik formally launched the School Websites, School ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems, and School Prospectuses of the three institutions. During the event, a dedicated library for kindergarten students was also inaugurated at Sunshine School, further strengthening the learning infrastructure and fostering a reading culture among young learners.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several senior executives and distinguished members of the community, including Mr. K. H. N. Naik, Vice President (ICT & Digital Transformation), TRL Krosaki and President of Belpahar Education Society Trust (BEST), which manages the schools; Executive Council Members of TRL Krosaki like Mr. Vishal Sahu, Vice President (Operations), Mr. Soumesh Sahu, Vice President (Projects, Procurement & Sustainability), Mr. Sushanta Kumar Das, Vice President (Corporate Services), Mr. Sitakanta Prusty, Vice President (Finance) & CFO, Mr. Manas Ranjan Padhi, Vice President (Sustainability & Logistics), Mr. Niranjan Dash, Vice President (Safety), Mr. Manoj Kumar Patel, Vice President of BEST, senior citizens Mr. Ajaya Bhramarbar Rai and Mr. Md. Arif, who are members of BEST; Mr. Ambarish Ghosh, Secretary of BEM School, Mrs. Namita Naik, Secretary and Mrs. Ankita Das, Joint Secretary of Sunshine School, Mr. Manoranjan Panigrahi, Secretary of B. R. High School, members of the Trust, principals, headmistress, teachers, and other stakeholders associated with the schools.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naik emphasized the importance of embracing innovation and digital transformation in education to prepare students for the future. He appreciated the efforts of the school management teams and the Belpahar Education Society Trust in implementing progressive initiatives that enhance educational quality and governance.

PRAGATI is a five-pillar transformation programme designed to strengthen academic excellence, governance, accountability, and technology-driven learning across the schools located in the TRL Krosaki township. The initiative includes:
• Implementation of School ERP Systems to enable end-to-end digitalization and automation of school processes.
• Development of dedicated school websites to enhance visibility, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Creation of a unified digital identity across all schools under the Trust.
• Establishment of AI and Robotics Laboratories to equip students with future-ready skills in artificial intelligence, innovation, and technology.
• Upgradation of educational and infrastructure facilities to support the holistic growth and development of students.

Through PRAGATI, TRL Krosaki reaffirms its commitment to promoting quality education and creating a future-ready learning environment for students in the communities it serves.
