Annual Sports and Prize Distribution Ceremony Celebrated at Jamera Upper Primary School.
Jharsuguda: Jamera Upper Primary School witnessed a grand celebration of its Annual Sports Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony. The event was inaugurated with a welcome address by Headmistress Kanchan Besan, followed by an introduction of the esteemed guests by senior teacher Neeladri Patel. Headmistress Vedamati Pandey skillfully conducted the proceedings, while Principal-in-Charge Gopal Biswal presented the annual report.
The Chief Guest, Charan Kumar Jena, Head of Action Ispat, Marakuta, graced the occasion, accompanied by Guest of Honor Narottam Sahu, President of the Village Education Committee. The keynote speaker, Kishore Kumar Mahanti, a science teacher from Adarsh Panchayat High School, Jamera, emphasized the importance of sports for maintaining a healthy body.
The ceremony was presided over by Rabindra Kumar Sahu, the Additional Block Education Officer and Cluster Resource Center Coordinator, who expressed his wishes for the school’s holistic development. Additional Block Education Officers Sushant Hota and Ajay Pat Joshi, along with local dignitaries, including Sarpanch, former students, and community leaders, such as Suru Babu, Chandra Kant Mirig, Manoj Singh, and Rajkumar Buda, were also present on the stage.
Senior teacher Neeladri Patel announced the prizes, which were distributed to the students by the esteemed guests. Teachers Promod Badhei, Santosh Kharasel, and Yashoda Garadia, along with members of the Village Education Committee, actively supported the event’s success.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Neeladri Patel, marking the end of a memorable celebration.
