Jharsuguda Dist. Collector Issues notices for neglegence and irregularities during Kirmira Visit
JHARSUGUDA :�Jharsuguda District Collector Aboli Sunil Naravane on Thursday sought an explanation from �Doctors, Teachers, and Principal who were found absent in their respective institutions on their duty hours. District Collector was on her surprise visit to Kirmira Block when she expressed her displeasure over the absence of the concerned authorities.
As per sources, Jharsuguda District Collector Aboli Sunil Naravane on Thursday visited Kirmira Block. During her visit, She made a surprise visit to Sovan Memorial Panchayat Higher Secondary School, Kirmira, and found that 4 out of 6 teachers including the principal were absent. She also found that the specific timetable was not followed for the students and even the girl�s toilet was not cleaned and also there was absence of dustbins in the toilets.
District Collector also expressed her displeasure over the absence of the Principal of the Sovan Memorial Panchayat Higher Secondary School, Kirmira after she came to know about the complaint of non-payment of EPF by the employees who retired from the institution. She also found that the District Education Officer (DEO) was not aware of the EPF payment issues. For this reason, the District Magistrate issued a show-cause notice to the principal of the school and sought an explanation for�the lapses within 48 hours.
Similarly, the Doctor in charge of CHC Kirmira was also found to be absent at 11 a.m., while the Doctor of� Arda Primary Health Center, was also found to be absent at 12 noon without intimation. A show cause notice was also issued to the doctors and asked to reply within 48 hours.
During the visit, the District Magistrate also inquired whether the patients were receiving proper health care at both the Health Centers. On this occasion, the District Magistrate reviewed the management and transformation of Mission Shakti in Arda College.
