3rd T 20 All India Cricket Tournament kicks off on Sunday
Jharsuguda: 3rd�T-20 All India Cricket Tournament organized by Youth Cricket Association, Jharsuguda kicked off on Sunday at Man Mohan ME School. The tournament was inaugurated by Chief Guest Kishore Ku. Mohanty along with the Guest of Honour Jharsuguda Dist. Collector Smt. Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar , Jharsuguda Municipality�s Chairman Harish Ganatra, Ex- Chairperson Tapas Ray Choudhary and Dileshwar Rao, Secretary, Dist. Athletic Association.
The tournament�s Final match will be played on 9th�Feb. In this Tournament 12 Cricket Teams are participating from Odisha, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh & Maharashtra.
In the inaugural match played between Mukteswar (Bhubaneswar) and SERSA (Chakradharpur) on Sunday SERSA (CKP) had defeated Mukteswar (BBSR) by 4 wickets. Winning the Toss Mukteswar, Bhubaneswar chose to bat first and managed to score 198 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs where as in reply SERSA (Chakradharpur) had put off a very good start and scored 200 runs in 19 overs losing six wickets. Man of Match was given to Pankaj Garg who scored 105 runs in 44 balls with 10 sixes and 8 fours. �The Match Umpires were Mario Francis and Wilson Singh along with commentator Balaji Saxena.
