New Jharsuguda Forest Division Office Inaugurated by Odisha Forest & Climate Change minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia.
Jharsuguda: The new Jharsuguda Forest Division Office was inaugurated on February 22, 2025, at BTM, Jharsuguda. The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Odisha’s Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change and Minister of Labour & Employees’ State Insurance, Ganesh Ram Singhkhuntia, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy and RCCF Sambalpur Circle T. Ashok Kumar, IFS, were present as Guests of Honour. The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of Manu Ashok Bhat, IFS, Divisional Forest Officer, Jharsuguda Forest Division.
The establishment of the new division office marks a significant milestone in strengthening forest administration and environmental conservation efforts in the region. The Jharsuguda Forest Division plays a crucial role in wildlife protection, a forestation initiatives, and sustainable forest management.
