Jharsuguda Art Competition 2025 winners felicitated at MCL Auditorium organized by CGST & Central Excise Department, Jharsuguda.

Jharsuguda: The Central GST and Central Excise Jharsuguda Division successfully hosted the Award Distribution Ceremony of the Jharsuguda Art Competition 2025 at the MCL Auditorium. Organized under Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 the event aimed to inspire young artists to use their creativity to promote awareness about cleanliness and hygiene. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across various schools making it a grand success.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment led by Chief Guest Aboli Sunil Naravane Collector and District Magistrate of Jharsuguda and Kunal Kumar Deputy Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise Jharsuguda. The presence of Jharsuguda SP Smit P Parmar and other esteemed dignitaries added to the event’s significance.

Addressing the audience Kunal Kumar lauded the students for their artistic contributions and emphasized the role of youth in promoting cleanliness. He encouraged students to become responsible citizens and uphold the values of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Other distinguished guests included Tanmayee Ping Principal of Govt High School Sarbahal Mahananda Seth Sanitation Instructor Jharsuguda Municipality and judges Bhagabat Chandra Patnaik Manoj Kumar Mahapatra and Linkan Naik who played a crucial role in evaluating the creative works.

Apart from the winners participation certificates were distributed to seventy five shortlisted student artists recognizing their outstanding creativity and dedication to the theme of cleanliness. The event not only celebrated artistic talent but also encouraged students to spread the message of Swachhta in their schools and communities.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks expressing gratitude to Jharsuguda Municipality Odisha Police teachers and volunteers from Government High School Sarbahal whose contributions ensured the events smooth execution. Their dedication and teamwork played a pivotal role in making the initiative a success.

This event in alignment with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan reflects the commitment of the Central GST and Central Excise Jharsuguda Division towards fostering awareness and responsibility among young minds.
