Awareness Programme to be conducted for ensuing 100% voting

Jharsuguda :�To ensure 100 per cent voting in the Jharsuguda district in the upcoming general election, the Jharsuguda District Administration organized a meeting and has directed�officials to create an awareness programme in the booths in which there was a low turnout during the last elections.

As per the Election Commission of India guidelines, the District Election Officer cum District Collector Aboli Sunil Naravane has directed all the officials of the district to create awareness among the voters regarding going to their respective booths and casting their votes. Everyone has been asked to make sincere efforts to ensure that all the voters participate in the elections, the great festival of democracy. It was also discussed that workers working in industrial establishments, banks and under-construction sites should also cast their votes in the elections to be held in Jharsuguda on May 20.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Council Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer and SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education & Electoral Participation) Nodal Officer Prabeer Kumar Nayak, Additional Dist. Magistrate (General) Brajbandhu Bhoi, Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Kishore Chandra Swain, Sub-Collector Sabyasachi Panda, and Integrated Tribal Development Agency Project Administrator Sanjib Patel were present.
