Jharsuguda : A Swachhta Pakhwada (Fortnight) has been observed at District Headquarter Hospital Jharsuguda. On this occasion, several programmes under Swachha Bharat Mission were conducted during this fortnight.
Training & demonstration on Hand Washing techniques, Segregation of General Wastes and Bio-Medical Waste was provided to employees, patient attendants and visitors to the hospital.
Video messages through Swachha Bharat Songs, Talks, Animated videos on Handwashing techniques, Behaviour Changes on Healthy Life Style were broadcasted in the Patient waiting area.
An inter-departmental competition on cleanliness, eco-friendly initiatives & record-keeping was conducted.
A drawing competition and Health awareness programme followed by Swachha Talk, Hygiene & Menstrual hygiene were conducted at Jhadeswar Special School, Jharsuguda.
A cleanliness drive and rally were organised by Buromal Yuvak Sangh & Mahila Arogya Samiti on the awareness of the Swachha Bharat Mission.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr Dolamani Patel, CDM&PHO Jharsuguda, Dr H.K. Satapathy, and DMO MS cum Superintendent DHH Jharsuguda.
