Jharsuguda: District BJP celebrated the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay at Bandapali Panchayat under Kirmira Block in Jharsuguda district on September 25.
Celebrations were led by the BJP’s Jharsuguda MLA candidate Tankadhar Tripathy, Kirmira Mandal President Bijay Sarma, and BJP workers Babulal Kisan and Jishketan Pradhan.
In his speech, Tankadhar Tripathi said that Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay was the father of the idea of humanism and the source of inspiration for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Tripathy said that the BJP is working on the ideals of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and is committed to the development of all sections of society, especially the weakest.
On the same day, the BJP district office in Jharsuguda also celebrated Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary under the leadership of Dhara Kanta and the BTM office under the leadership of Prem Sen. The BJP workers paid tribute to Upadhyay and pledged to work towards his ideals.
