MLA Dipali Das, Directs Officials to Expedite Development Projects in Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda: MLA Deepali Das on Wednesday directed officials to expedite development projects in the Jharsuguda assembly constituency. She gave the directives at a meeting of the Jharsuguda assembly constituency development committee held at the Sadbhavana House of the District Council.
The MLA inquired about the status of doctors, health workers, medicines, and generators in various groups and primary health centres, including the district head hospital. She ordered that steps be taken to repair and renovate the health centres.
In addition, she directed the district chief medical and public health officer to make the hospital in Mangal Bazar fully operational and to take steps to appoint women and obstetric doctors in the health centres in each block. She directed the concerned departmental officials to supply seeds and fertilisers to the farmers, along with providing drinking water in the block and municipal Area.
She also directed that the posts of teachers in schools be filled, that school houses be built and renovated, that self-help groups be engaged in the respective areas to provide clothes to students, that beneficiary selection schemes be implemented under the Pradhan Mantri Abas Yojana, Madhu Babu Pension Yojana, and Food Security Scheme, and that a lighting system be installed in elephant walks for the affected. She directed that the necessary steps be taken to pay compensation.
After reviewing the progress of various projects and schemes, the MLA advised the departmental officers to continue the work in coordination with each other. Deputy Collector Pratima Ping proposed a vote of thanks.
