Jharsuguda: Ongoing eviction programme by the Jharsuguda Municipality ahead of Durga Puja Festival had been protested by the Shop owners on Monday.
According to the President , Jharsuguda Chamber of Commerce, Manjit Singh said that, as per the meeting held at the Municipality it was agreed to free the road side encroachment which was covering the drains but in today eviction it was said to remove the hoarding of the shops which was far behind and above the drain. Which was bee protested by the shop owners and later Executive officer Municipality had withdrawn this by giving in written that eviction has been stopped.”
