Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western Odisha on Saturday held an Annual General Meeting

Jharsuguda : Members of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western Odisha on Saturday held an Annual General Meeting and requested State Government to develop Potential Tourist Spots in Western Odisha to revive the Hotel industry after Post Covid Period.

In this regard, the Hoteliers from Rourkela, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Titlagarh, Bhawanipatna, Deogarh held a meeting and discussed various problems and issues faced by the Hospitality Industry in Western Odisha. Like the Development of all tourist spots in Western Odisha to attract the tourist, to solve the operational problems of Flight service from VSS Airport, Jharsuguda along with various other issues.

Members of this association opinion that the majority of Hotels in Western Odisha are small, Old, and have a different problem as compared with hotels in Bhubaneswar. So, they need the special support of the Government to regularize the hotel establishment based in Western Odisha.

The association also said that they could take the support of HRAO, which has a strong presence in the state to solve the above problem.

The President of the Association, Jasbir Hura along with Secretary Abhishek Lath and Vice-President of HRAO Ashish Palit along with members and representative hotels of Western Odisha were present at this meeting.
