Hywa Falls off Rampela Bridge
Jharsuguda : One person was rescued and two went missing, after a Hywa fell off from Rampela Bridge on IB river on Tuesday.
The rescued person was identified as Aditya Sahu, the driver of the Vehicle while other two missing person identified as Jitendra Sahu and Papu Sahu.
As per sources, the driver of vehicle, who was coming from Rengali (Sambalpur District) to Banharpali area in Jharsuguda district, lost control over the vehicle and had broke the side barricade of the bridge and fell in to the river.
Subsequently, the fisher men in the IB river saw Aditya swimming and had rescued him. Later police sent him to Jharsuguda District Headquarter Hospital. However, the two others are still missing.
The Banharpalli police officials and fire personnel have reached the spot and has started a search operation to find the missing two person.
Rampela Bridge which is 2.50 Km Long High-Level Bridge on river IB in Jharsuguda district, Odisha. This bridge provides a link between the MCL coalfield area adjacent to Belpahar in the Jharsuguda district with SH-10 near Rengali of Sambalpur district.
