Alliance Air to have a single boarding pass from 24th July 2020 for Kolkata-Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar-Raipur, Raipur-Kolkata

Jharsuguda: For making flight travel more smoother and convenient for the air travellers during the COVID19 epidemic situation, Alliance Air wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Limited is all set to allow passengers to remain on board for their onward journey, starting from 24th July 2020.

As per the report, earlier, the air travellers, who have boarded from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar via Jharsuguda, had to de-board at Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport, Jharsuguda and had to undergo security again, which created lots of problem for the passengers.

But after 24th July 2020, the air travellers, who have to reach Bhubaneswar from Kolkata, can remain on board of flight and can reach Bhubaneswar easily. The similarly it is done for Bhubaneswar – Raipur (Via Jharsuguda), Raipur – Kolkata (Via Jharsuguda) routes.

Alliance Air is operating flights for Bhubaneswar, Raipur, and Kolkata sector from Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport, Jharsuguda.   

Alliance Air’s Jharsuguda Station Manager Abhijit Satpathy said that, “Now that we have tried our best to make more simple connectivity by providing single boarding card with single flight number, for those passenger travelling from Kolkata-Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar-Raipur and Raipur-Kolkata (Via Jharsuguda)”

Timings and Flight Details

Kolkata to Bhubaneshwar via VSS, Jharsuguda: Operating on all days of the week, Flight 9I 745 will depart from Kolkata at 0645hrs and arrive in Jharsuguda at 0805hrs further departing from Jharsuguda at 0835hrs and arrive in Bhubaneshwar at 0950hrs.

Bhubaneshwar to Raipur via VSS, Jharsuguda : Operating on all days of the week, Flight 9I 748 will depart from Bhubaneshwar at 10:20hrs and arrive in Jharsuguda at 11:10hrs further departing from Jharsuguda at 11:35hrs and arrive in Raipur at 12:25hrs.

Raipur to Kolkata via VSS, Jharsuguda: Operating on all days of the week, Flight 9I 746 will depart from Raipur at 12:50hrs and arrive in Jharsuguda at 13:45hrs further departing from Jharsuguda at 14:10hrs and arrive in Kolkata at 15:35hrs.

The airline is adhering to all government guidelines and is following all the standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Required precautionary measures are being taken within the aircraft as well at the time of check-in, boarding and arrival at the destination. The aircraft are being rigorously disinfected after each flight to eliminate any risk of contagion.
