Jharsuguda: A White Cobra was rescued at Jharsuguda on Tuesday at Sarbahal. It was rescued from a Beetle Shop present near Sarbahal road.
The 4.5 feet White Cobra was spotted by a customer who had come to this beetle shop, who later informed the Snake Helpline. Later, the Snake Helpline Member Ranjit Upadhyay reached the spot and rescued the snake.
As per the Snake Helpline member Ranjit Upadhyay, ” I came and saw that the snake was present inside the shop. This snake was unique as it was white in colour, while I rescued I realised that this might be a rare species of snake known as Albino. However, I am not so sure. I will hand over this to the Forest Department.
