Jharsuguda: The Department of Post, Jharsuguda on Sunday released a �Gandhi Yatra Carried Special Covers� on the theme of Gandhiji�s visit to Jharsuguda on 22nd December 1928, in connection with his 150th birth anniversary celebration.
This was released by Chief Guest of the event Lalitendu Pradhan, the Post Master General, Sambalpur, in presence with the Sachin Sharma, President of Marwari Yuva Manch, Jharsuguda and Jugal Kishore Sultania, Founder, Marwari Yuva Manch, Jharsuguda.
“Around 350 covers on the Mahatama Gandhi Ji has been released to mark his journey and in Jharsuguda he had visited twice so incoming 5th May 2020 another cover page will be released on 5th May 1934, ” said Lailtendu Pradhan, Post Master General
