Jharsuguda : After two days remand of the accuse ASI Gopal Das, Crime Branch recovered handwritten document pieces from a septic tank of Airport Police Station in Talpatia at Jharsuguda.
As per the Crime Branch, following the lead given by accused during interrogation about throwing handwritten paper in which he had noted down in detail his motive behind the crime in the toilet of Airport Police Station, Jharsuguda. A team of CID-CB is carrying out search of the said septic tank to verify the plea taken by the accused ASI during interrogation. Some pieces of handwritten papers as narrated by the accused have been recovered. These will be sent to forensics and handwriting experts for reconstruction and examination.
Where as, the preserved viscera of the deceased has been sent to the SFSL, Rasulgarh BBSR for Chemical Examination and Opinion and Inspection of the vehicle and the Crime Spot by Scientific Officer and Ballistic Experts using FARO 3-D Scanner has led to recovery of one fired bullet which is a valuable piece of evidence.
Verification of medical treatment records and financial behavior of accused ASI Gopal Krishna Das is continuing by a team led by DSP, CID CB at Berhampur. The team is also engaged in examination of the near and dear ones of the accused ASI to ascertain the plea advanced by him, while the Interrogation of elder brother of accused ASI at Berhampur has been done informed Crime Branch.
