Jharsuguda : Central Action Committee (CAC) for setting up a permanent bench of High court in Western Odisha on Sunday demanded Central Government to bring an ordinance for the establishment of High Court in Western Odisha, within 30th September.

This was decided in a core committee meeting of the Central Action Committee (CAC) held at DRDA Hall, Jharsuguda on Sunday afternoon.

“As the Odisha State Government has already written to Central Government in favour of setting up a permanent bench of High Court in the Western Odisha, it’s now the Central Government responsibility to take a action and bring the ordinance to pass this demand.

The demand of high court in Western Odisha is an important demand, but after receiving letters from both Central as well as State Government the High Court has remained silent. I want to ask on whose pressure the high court is been silent ?, even we have gone and met five times with the Chief Justice of the High Court but still High Court has remained silent. We are condemning it.” said CAC Convener, Ashok Das

In the protest of this, it is decided that coming 17th to 26th September, we are going to observe a seizure of work of in all the Judicial and revenue court. he added
