Jharsuguda: Four Officials of Air Odisha visited Jharsuguda on Saturday afternoon. They had visited the Jharsuguda terminal for the starting of Air Odisha Operation.
Air Odisha happens to be a joint venture of the Gujarat State Export Corporation Limited (GSEC), the Monarch Group and Air Deccan and it has been awarded 50 routes across different states in the country under UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme. The airline has the single largest share of the routes under the scheme.
On Saturday, the promoter of Air Odisha Shaishav Shah, Ramakant Gupta Head – Operations along with other two officials had visited the Jharsuguda Airport.
“We have reached Jharsuguda airport and very soon we will start the air services from Raipur to Jharsuguda, Jharsuguda to Vishakhapatnam and Vishakhapatnam to Bhubaneswar. The date hasn’t benign finalized yet but the operations will start by month of June this year. We have come here to see the runway, the safety measures over here, ATC tower etc. ” said Shaishav Shah, Promoter of Air Odisha.
