5 Lakhs robbed from railway colony

Jharsuguda: Unidentified men ransacked a Quarter of a railway Guard and fled with cash and Jewellery valued at Rs 5 lakhs on Wednesday morning.

As per the house owner’s mother Baraleela said that she had locked the gate, leaving the gate keys near to her and slept at 11 am on Tuesday night. But when she woke up at 5.30 am in the morning she found that her gate was open and things were scattered, later she found that her lockers were open and her gold ornaments worth 1 Lakhs along with 4 Lakhs cash was missing.  On the day of incident, she was alone in her house and her son being a Railway Guard had gone on duty and on return he filed an FIR about the incident at Jharsuguda Govt. Railway Police Station.
