Jharsuguda : Seven lakhs rupees were looted by Unidentified miscreants from a labour Contractor of Bhusan Steel and Power Ltd. near kherwal bridge on Tuesday evening.
The victim was identified as S.k. Tripathy (45) , resident of sambalpur.
As per the sources , S.K. Tripathy , labour contractor working at Bhusan Steel and Power ltd. Under Manninath Engg. had withdrawn seven Lakh rupees from Punjab National Bank for labour payment and was going on bike near kherwal when unidentified miscreant on pulsar bike had fired two rounds of bullet which hit him on right thigh and abdomen. The Miscreants then snatched the money kept inside bike dickkey�and fled from the spot. �The injured later immediately taken to the Jharsuguda Dist. Headquarter Hospital who which was later referred to Burla VSS Medical Hospital.
