On Monday, the temperature reached a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius across the state. The city of Jharsuguda recorded the highest temperature of 40 degrees Celsius before sunset. The same temperature was also recorded in the city of Baripada.
Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, recorded a temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius, Other cities such as Chandbali, Angul, and Sambalpur also recorded a temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius.
Furthermore, cities like Boudh, Malkangiri, Titalgarh, Sonepur, Cuttack, Sundergarh, and Jagatsinghpur recorded temperatures ranging from 39.5 to 39 degrees Celsius.
