JHARSUGUDA : Jharsuguda Round Table 236 and Jharsuguda Ladies Circle 126 were chartered in a glittering ceremony held at The Orchard. The members of the newly created table first distributed Rain Coats and Water Bottles at Hariom Ashram, a home for orphan children near Talpatia which was followed by lunch for all the kids. The charter ceremony started in the evening and National Fellowship Convener of Round Table India , Tabler Ruchir Gupta handed over the charter certificate to the chairman of Jharsuguda Round Table Tabler Deepak Agrawal. The National President of Ladies Circle India, Circler Ramya Rajesh then presented the charter certificate of Ladies Circle 126 to the Chairperson Circler Preeti Agrawal. Apart from this Prasant Behera was choosen as treasurer, Nimish Singhania as Vice Chairman and Suresh Tulshyan as Secretary of the JRT. The event was attended by the members of the sponsor table Rourkela Round Table 194, Area Chaiman Tabler Neeraj Dhote and members from Chandigarh, Kolkata, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Jamshedpur Tables. The ceremony was followed by the fellowship dinner.
Jharsuguda Round Table and Jharsuguda Ladies Circle has 23 members who took oath to work for the education of underprivileged children and other community service activities.

Round Table is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation offering young men between the ages of 18 and 40 the opportunity for serving their communities by encouraging high ethical standards in commercial life; by developing the acquaintance of men in all vocations and thereby a fuller understanding; and by stimulating individual interest in everything affecting public welfare.

The Round Table movement first came to India 1957 in Madras and there are now more than 240 Tables located in 80 cities and towns, comprising of businessmen, entrepreneurs, technocrats and professionals; men who can rise above personal concerns to seek and serve the larger needs of the community.
LADIES CIRCLE INDIA
Ladies Circle is a non-political and non-sectarian organization made up of the wives of members of Round Table. It offers opportunities for serving the community, for fostering and strengthening friendships between like-minded young women and helps create a better understanding of the obligations one owes to the society. The Ladies Circle movement first came to India in 1968.
