NTPC Darlipali Inaugurates 5 KVA Off-Grid Solar Systems in 50 Government Schools of Bargarh

Jharsuguda: NTPC Darlipali inaugurated 5 KVA Off-Grid Solar Power Systems in 50 Government Schools across Bargarh district under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure while promoting the use of renewable energy.
The programme was graced by Shri Pradip Purohit, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Bargarh, along with ADM, Bargarh and District Education Officer. Shri Faiz Taiyab, Head of Project, NTPC Darlipali; Shri Deepak Kumar Sonkar, GM (Project & Construction); and other senior officials also joined the occasion, along with the headmaster, teachers, students and other representatives of the school.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Faiz Taiyab, Head of Project, NTPC Darlipali, highlighted the importance of reliable electricity in creating better learning environments and enabling uninterrupted educational activities. He also emphasised the role of the initiative in creating awareness among students about renewable energy and environmental responsibility.
During the programme, Shri Pradip Purohit, Hon’ble MP, Bargarh, and other dignitaries expressed their appreciation for NTPC Darlipali’s efforts and the meaningful impact of the initiative.
The solar installations are expected to provide the schools with a reliable and sustainable source of electricity, while helping students develop greater awareness of renewable energy and environmental conservation.
The initiative reflects NTPC Darlipali’s continued commitment towards education, community development and sustainable growth, creating meaningful and lasting impact in the surrounding communities.
