Time to Cheer, First Aircraft Service started from Jharsuguda, Trail flight from Bhubaneswar lands at Jharsuguda Airport Inauguration at 1.30 P.M.

Jharsuguda : After long and much talked about Air services was started off Today. Around 9.30 a.m. a trial flight of Air Odisha had landed Jharsuguda airport in a cloudy & rainy weather �safely. This flight took around an hour and 10 minutes duration from Bhubaneswar airport. Jharsuguda S.P. Shri K.S. Kanwar was present in this flight from Bhubaneswar and cherished the journey and said that the services would be beneficial for the local public and the corporate present in the district.

This Flight is being operated by the Air Odisha in association with Ventura Air connect, with Cessna Grand Caravan-208B Aircraft which is a 2 pilots and 12 passenger seater Air craft, but it has been converted to 9 passenger and 2 pilots seater for better comfort ability of passengers. It is hoped passengers would definitely enjoy their journey while flying in this air Craft. Air Odisha has tied up with �Sourya Aviation� and Pinnacle Air� for maintenance purpose.

Apart from this all, Air Odisha also provides Air Charter service and Air Ambulance service at a reasonable cost to the intending customers with 25 hours prior request for the charter services. Along with Chopper facilities also.

As per the 1^st Phase of operation schedule of Air Odisha the route would be Jharsuguda, Rourkela and Raipur would be connected. After the inauguration of the project today, daily two flights would be started for above three destinations. However, flight operation to Raipur will be started from 9^th Nov. 2012.

The Inauguration of its commercial flight is scheduled to be from 12.30 P.M.
